Lady Gaga udzieliła bardzo mocnego wywiadu dla CBS Sunday Morning. Gwiazda opowiedziała, że bycie sławną zniszczyło jej życie.
Mimo że album „Chromatica” muzycznie jest bardzo energiczny i taneczny, zawarte na nim utwory nierzadko dotykają bardzo trudnych tematów. Lady Gaga nie przestaje promować wydawnictwa. W dniu, kiedy ukazał się długo wyczekiwany klip do kawałka „911”, do sieci trafił też fragment wywiadu, jakiego artystka udzieliła dla CBS Sunday Morning. Gwiazda opowiedziała w nim, że przez bycie sławną chciała się zabić!
„Poddałam się. Nienawidziłam sławy. Nienawidziłam bycia gwiazdą. Czułam się wykończona i zużyta. To zniszczyło moje życie. Zobacz, co zrobiłaś. Nie możesz iść do sklepu. Nie możesz iść na obiad z rodziną, bo ktoś podejdzie do stolika. Nie możesz zjeść obiadu, żeby wszystko nie kręciło się wokół ciebie. Cały czas ty. (…) Myślałam o samobójstwie codziennie. Żyłam w domu, gdzie ludzie przez kilka lat sprawdzali, czy jestem bezpieczna” – przyznała.
Lady Gaga na szczęście ma najgorszy okres za sobą. Jak sama powiedziała, dziś umie kochać siebie. „Już nie czuję nienawiści do Lady Gagi. Nauczyłam się kochać ciebie, chociaż myślałam, że to niemożliwe” – dodała.
